Tribute to Leah Catchpole, 1976 - 2026

I went to school with you Leah, I knew all those years ago what a caring, unique and wonderful person you were. I wasn't surprised at all to read about your life and amazing achievements, all the wonderful things you did for others and your passion for animals. I was so saddened to hear you had passed, which I only recently discovered and you've been in my thoughts ever since. I send my love and sincere condolences to Stuart, Isaac and all your family and friends, I'll never forget you.

"Oh Leah"...as your dad always used to say - how very missed you will be; I can't quite believe you are gone, but never ever will you be forgotten. I feel honoured to have known you, and cherished you being one of my close friends, since meeting you all those years ago at the John Innes Centre when you were just 19. Oh my, did we have fun together - you were a ray of sunshine, burning so brightly and ever the fighter. The most pragmatic and lovely person I have ever known. Even taking the time and effort to visit me in Australia - it meant the world to me - I would have done anything for you too. Rest easy and be at peace Leah. You will be my our heart forever. xxx
